This 1940’s white plastic Taplin Cribbage Board builds off Horse Race Derby model utilizing an oval track.

Billed as the perfect cribbage board by it’s manufacturer Tarplin Toys, Inc.This simple continuous three track design has a built in peg storage compartment on the back side and several scoring holes to keep track of games won, total points or skunks.

Overall dimensions 13-3/4″ x  5″ x 5/8″ . Manufacturer Taplin Toys, INC., Minneapolis 6, Minnesota.  Although you may be able to find one of these little gems for the original selling price of $2.50 ; we picked this one up at an online auction for around $22.00 in February of this year (“2011”). Overall nice condition, box is sound but with some peeling on the face from tape or water damage.
